Benfield Alfa Romeo Newcastle becomes a flagship UK dealership! - 09/02/2010

Following the successful launch by Italian celebrity chef Aldo Zilli, Benfield Alfa Romeo in Newcastle has become one of the brand's flagship UK dealerships!

Officially the UK's largest Alfa Romeo showroom, Benfield's new state-of-the art dealerships in Newcastle has recorded record sales since opening in January 2009.

The record sales at the new showroom have coincided with the launch of the new Alfa Romeo MiTo dubbed one of the sportiest compact cars in the world. The MiTo's have been flying off Benfield's forecourt almost as fast as they have been arriving ! Leading models such as the new 159 saloon and the Brera Coupe have also been selling well taking Benfield into the top three Alfa Romeo dealerships in the UK.

Dax Pearce, the new General Manager, who joined Benfield from Maserati and Ferrari and is a former award-winning sales executive for Alfa says "Its been an explosion ever since the launch night when over 400 guests attended and were all treated to a taste of la dolce vita by Italian celebrity chef Aldo Zilli. Alfa Romeo has a cult following of motorists around the world and it's true testimony to the Alfa Romeo brand that the response to the new showroom in Newcastle has been quite unbelievable.
